The 30-second answer
March–June and September–November are the golden months for a Murcia golf holiday. Warm, dry, comfortable for 18 holes, and the resort is at its best.
Month by month
January–February
Winter sun. Highs of 17–20°C, sunny most days, cold-ish evenings (10°C). The winter-golf crowd from Sweden, Denmark and the UK arrives — booking early is essential.
March–April
Sweet spot. Highs of 20–24°C, pool is swimmable from mid-April, courses in perfect condition after winter rain.
May–June
Peak resort conditions. 25–30°C, long evenings, dry, warm nights. Green fees rise; family bookings start dominating.
July–August
Hot — 32–36°C daily, up to 40°C in a heatwave. Great for pool holidays, harder for full rounds. Play early morning only, or take the month off golf and focus on the terrace.
September–October
Most under-rated months. Still 25–29°C, sea is at its warmest, kids back at school, prices soften, resort feels calm.
November
Beautiful shoulder month. 18–22°C, dry, minimal wind. Golf is at its best. Book now — this is where the smart money goes.
December
Cool and clear. 15–18°C, brisk evenings. Christmas and New Year weeks fill up 6+ months out.
The two months most people get wrong
February gets undersold — regular 18–20°C sunshine, half the price of March, and empty tee sheets. October gets overshadowed by the summer months but is arguably better than any of them.
